Job Objective To support the Operations Manager in the delivery of the Group’s business objectives. 2. Reporting Line 3. Tasks and Responsibilities The Cost Engineer is directly responsible to the Senior Cost Engineer and ultimately the Operations manager and the role will require: • To support in the preparation of and prepare, review and submit initial cost estimates • To support in the preparation of and to review, amend, update and submit ongoing project cost updates/ analysis for internal and client use • To integrate with Operations Teams in supporting the preparation of ongoing monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budget setting • To support in the preparation of the monthly Commercial presentation for the team updating on sales to date, profit lines etc • To collate, review, log and distribute timewriting timesheets internally and to client for approval, to pursue recovery from clients and ensure that recovered timesheets are recorded and passed on to the Business Support Team • To support Engineering Teams in client meetings regarding cost estimates, project cost analysis and the likes • To support Business Support in monthly invoices, invoice query resolution and ongoing Commercial File Invoice Pack preparation works • To support in the review and confirm all received invoices, including cross matching against relevant orders • To support RBG Limited in the preparation of multi-disciplinary cost estimates, tenders and the likes • To support annual contract amendments, OCA submissions and integration of new rates into templates • To support the Operations Manager on a daily basis 4.
